My Lens

​

I operate from the belief that we are made for, and heal by, connection to ourselves and others.

​

My approach is integrative and relational, incorporating a variety of practices, tailored to your therapeutic needs and goals. As an EMDR trained, and trauma informed therapist I explore behaviors, beliefs and emotions through the lens of trauma. I help clients understand their true self, and step into their innate ability to trust themselves and heal.

My aim is to help you experience immediate relief, by empowering you with tools and resources. I also desire long-lasting change for you, and facilitate this through understanding and insight, emotional processing & integration, and deep healing at the root. Practices I use to facilitate a remembrance of wholeness include: 

  • Somatic Awareness - tuning into what your body is communicating.

  • Nervous System Regulation- building capacity and flexibility for emotional experiences.

  • Parts Work/IFS lens- developing an understanding and appreciation for all of the parts of you. 

  • Compassionate Curiosity- training your mind to respond with wonder vs. judgement.

  • Trauma Informed Practices- creating safety in the body, before exploring content.

  • EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing assisting the brain in processing trauma in a more adaptive, less distressing way.
